How Data are Used

The purpose of all data we collect is to provide the best possible distance healing experience for animals in need.

What Data are Collected

We collect only the minimum data necessary to accomplish our purpose of providing the best possible distance healing experience for animals in need.

The information we collect on animals for whom healing is requested includes the animal's name, gender, species/breed and age (if known) as well as the animal's location and condition. If the user wishes, a photo of the animal before and after healing may also be shared with us.

The name and email contact information for those requesting healing for an animal is collected.

For our volunteer applicants, we collect name, email contact information, location, gender, types of healing modalities practiced and which type of healing group they prefer to join.

How Data are Collected

The information we collect is primarily done through web forms on our Wix website.

We may also collect minimal supplemental information through other methods such as email. This may include information such as before and after photos of animals for whom healing is requested or to whom healing has been sent if the requestor chooses to share these with us.

Google email and Google Drive are used to store information downloaded from our Wix website as well as information shared with us through email.

Where Data are Used

Data on animals for whom healing is requested and contact information for the requesters are shared with our healers around the world through email for the purpose of providing distance healing for animals in need.

Information collected on potential volunteers is used by designated coordinators to ensure that applicants are in alignment with our mission and purpose. These coordinators may be located at various locations throughout the world.

Terms

Data are kept for as long as they are needed to fulfill our purpose.

Revoking Consent

If a person requesting healing for an animal, or a volunteer or volunteer applicant no longer wants their information stored, a request to this effect may be made through the Contact Us form on our website.
